Princesse tam tam
UXUS was invited to create a new retail platform for French lingerie brand Princesse Tam Tam. The objective was to design a new shop concept that would elevate the brand’s customer perception and become a platform for a global roll out.
The boutique is inspired by the casual chic of a Paris atelier, where found objects and simple frameworks display personal collections.
The collection’s vibrant use of color and contemporary patterns is tempered by an elegant interior color scheme of neutral taupe and soft whites, punctuated by the brand’s signature violet. A custom-made white oak display system was developed to layer garment displays, featuring softly rounded corners and a series of modules that create a calm, effortless rhythm throughout the store. Echoing the floor’s white painted planks, a series of randomly stacked drawer unit complete the atelier look, and provide extra storage space where needed. Warm grey felt adds a soft touch to the experience, lining cozy fitting rooms and creating a feature screen in the shop window, where a lacy, dotted cut-out pattern and open oak display cases invite passers-by to catch glimpses of the latest collection. The shopping experience is punctuated with unexpected details, from the window’s monitors displaying runway shows to the dramatically lit showcases and interactive touch screens in fitting rooms, giving Princesse Tam.Tam a 21st century edge.
The first Flagship store is located on Rue de Sèvres in the St. Germain district of Paris.
