This house is located at prestigious address of the capital city of Jakarta. Family of five has decided to move from apartment to this house. It consists of a foyer, living room, dining room, wet and dry kitchen, service area, four bedrooms, library and a home theatre. The architecture of this home was inspired by tropical and modern resort style. The extensive use of wood and other natural material is seen throughout the space. The centre piece of foyer area is wooden carved partition that is hand crafted by artisan from a small town of Jepara in Central Java. The three dimensional of this screen is so detail and intricate. Combined with hand painted pendant light from Italy, the blend looks very much exotic and rich in design. Earth tone color scheme is chosen for its neutral mood. Travertine marble is chosen for the flooring throughout the house. Branded furniture such as Baker is chosen for its timeless and classic quality. The understated elegance of the furniture complements the simple and open layout of the home. Large opening and high ceiling is created for cross air circulation. A centralized vacuum system is utilized in the whole house for easy maintenance and cleaning. Surrounded by simple yet cozy landscape, the house is a pure indulgence for its owner to dwell.
